Lesson 1: Introduction to the HCL Evaluation

In Step 4, you will teach your client, patient or case study that HCL is their first defense to ward off pathogens taking root inside the body and a necessary part of preventing reinfection down the road. Let them know that you will be evaluating the amount of HCL they are currently producing and will determine if they need more in order to safeguard their long-term digestive health. Depending on their plan (H, especially), stress levels, and lifestyle they embark on after GT5, you might like to work with them annually on an HCL challenge.

Upper GI Education with Jack Tips, PhD, CCN

In this video, Jack gives an analysis on the use of antibiotics and how they have affected our overall gut and where it all starts, the oral microbiome through the GI tract including the critical role of HCL (stomach acid) in our stomach. He explains how our cells communicate throughout this entire process, how we can help to teach them to communicate more efficiently, and how we should understand that the signals these cells receive are the most important aspect of avoiding autoimmune conditions and tackling resistant bacteria.

This is a very important concept to understand and to explain to your clients, patients, and case studies because they should come back to see you each time they have to take antibiotics to make sure their hard work and progress does not get thwarted.
